Q: Describe your role at Lincoln

A:

I am responsible for Creative Development, Media Buying, Ad Agency Management and all Promotional Channels for the Lincoln Brand.

Q: Why did you get your MBA?

A:

Mainly to facilitate a career switch from Wall Street to a more operational role in a Fortune 100 company.

Q: How did your MBA help you get the job you want?

A:

It allowed me to sharpen existing skills, and develop new ones like statistics and operations.

Q: How does your MBA help you in your day-to-day role at Lincoln?

A:

The foundations and frameworks that I learned across disciplines like Marketing, Finance, and Statistics help me identify critical questions to ask, and often provide an objective shortcut to becoming a subject-matter expert.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A:

That no two days are alike…and in Marketing, the ability to jump from detailed analytics in one meeting to creative judgment in the next.

Q: What insights would you share with other students trying to get their MBA?

A:

Make sure you master Corporate Finance, Accounting, Statistics, and Decision Making, no matter what your concentration and chosen career path is…and enjoy the journey!
